Magic of the Garden Isle

After a busy road trip through California, a week of relaxation in Hawaii is always a good idea. You have to pick the right island, though, as much of Hawaii is just as busy as the mainland. I therefore present to you Kauai, which receives only 10 per cent of all visitors to the archipelago. It's still plenty touristic, of course, but it's easy to escape from all that. I'll show you how.

Kauai, Hawaii, ai-ai!

Etter en hektisk bilferie i California kan det være deilig å slappe av på Hawaii en stund. Det gjelder imidlertid å velge riktig øy, siden mye av Hawaii kan minne om de litt triste delene av Mallorca og Gran Canaria. Så forslaget fra meg er å dra til Kauai, som får bare 10 prosent av Hawaii-turismen. Det er mer enn nok til at det er en lettvint øy å besøke, men det er massevis av steder hvor du kan finne roen.
