Chisinau gets terribly busy with all the people out celebrating, so we decide to head over to a part of the country that is not so happy about the country gaining independence from the Soviet Union. Transnistria is part of Moldova, but consists of a mainly Russian-speaking population, and has declared itself an independent state, heavily backed by Russia.

To get there, we need to find the right bus and spend just over an hour on it. The bus terminal in Chisinau is hectic, but we find it.
