To stop the desert from swallowing the roads through it entirely, the sand next to the road is filled with these thingies. It seems to work well. Just in case it isn't enough, the drivers keep throwing various trash and beer bottles out their windows, to elevate the barrier.

For å hindre at veiene blåser igjen i ørkenen, har man plassert sånne sandfangere bortetter veien. Det ser ut til å fungere greit. I tilfelle det ikke skulle være nok, bidrar sjåførene på veien stadig med å kaste søppel og ølflasker ut av vinduet, for å gjøre barrieren litt høyere for sanden. |
