Som en kyst- og elvenasjon er fisk viktig for Gambia. Små fisk som disse legger de ofte i sola til å tørke i en uke eller to før de spiser dem. Til stor glede særlig for fluene!

Most of the Gambia is within sight of the ocean or the river, so fish is important for the people. Small fish like these are usually laid out in the sun to dry for a couple of weeks before they eat it. The flies appreciate this custom very much!
