And this is what a high-class safari camp looks like from the top of that tower on the previous photo. There's a really nice pool where you can while away the hours between morning and afternoon, when the heat makes most of the animals rather passive anyway. And there's of course a restaurant right next to it. Then there are a number of cabins and a tent site where you can stay, and beyond them there's a waterhole, where you can just sit and let the animals come to you. It's not cheap, but it's very, very nice. |
Sånn ser en ekstremt flott safaricamp ut, fra toppen av tårnet på forrige bilde. De har et lekkert svømmebasseng hvor du kan slappe av i timene midt på dagen, når det uansett er så varmt at dyrene knapt rører på seg. Ved siden av er det selvfølgelig en god restaurant. Bortenfor ligger det flere "hytter" (ganske råflotte sådanne) og teltplasser, og bortenfor der igjen er det et vannhull hvor du kan sitte og la dyrene komme til deg. Billig er det ikke, men det er veldig, veldig fint.
