My theory is that most people in Chiloé are colour blind, and that they just randomly paint their buildings, hoping for the best. The results are often pleasing, but I can't explain exactly what I like about it. Castro is incredibly colourful, seemingly with no system behind it.

Min teori er at alle som bor på Chiloé er fargeblinde, og at de bare velger en tilfeldig farge når de skal male huset sitt, og håper på det beste. Ofte blir resultatet bra, uten at jeg kan forklare akkurat hva jeg liker. Castro er i hvert fall veldig fargerik, om enn på en kaotisk måte. |
